Would you like to listen to that all day/night long?
In my neighbourhood (Berrylands, Howard Road) a car alarm has caused a noise disturbance since around 9am this morning (9th April 2015).
When I called the police at around 6:40pm, I gave them the number plate and description of the car and was told to phone the Kingston Council "out-of-hours" number.
GUESS WHAT?
Kingston Council tried to pass the buck and asked me to phone the police. Really?
IN THE MEANTIME, two neighbours supplied me with additional information. Apparently someone mistakenly assumed it was a fire alarm and called 999!
Kingston Council lodged my complaint and took my details. Unlike the immediate neighbours, I cannot hear the alarm where I live.
